HVAC Malfunction on Dodge Ram 1500

I was driving my Ram 1500 tonight with the A/C on, and all of the sudden their was a little thump. Immediately the fan noise became louder and the air flow from the vents became almost undetectable. Any suggestions?

2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi

Already Tried:
i played around with the fan selector switch...but that didn't help.

Hi My name is Kevin let see if we can solve this porb you are having.

U have a broken rec door it happens quite often in the 1500 mainly in the 06 year.
This will require for you to remove the dash and replace the recurlate housing assembly to which u can get from the dealer.

2. How much should I expect to pay for this repair if I took it to the dealer?

rec door is the recirculate door right above the blower motor.
depends on the dealer and labor rate but around 1000.
